Day 1: Ha Giang city, Heaven’s Gate, Lung Tam village, Yen Minh, Hmong King’s Palace, Dong Van
You’ll meet your guide and rider here at 8:30 a.m. The path ascends Bac Sum Pass and Heaven Gate through beautiful and quiet scenery. A wonderful way to start the day. The Vietnamese countryside, as well as beautiful vistas such as the twin mountains and the small village of Tam Son, will undoubtedly be encountered. You pass via Chin Khoanh Pass on your way to Dong Van. This tour will take you across Vietnam’s vast natural beauty and stunning settings. The Dong Van rock plateau is an important geological heritage landscape in Vietnam.
Rice fields, thousands of limestone boulders, and breathtaking views abound in the area. It also allows you to see the daily life of hill tribal villages where residents work the land, which is a great way to get to know and engage with the locals. Then we’ll visit Sa Phin’s Hmong King’s Palace, which is also a Vuong family home. We’ll head to Dong Van for a traditional Vietnamese supper and live music after a day of calm touring.
Day 2 Dong Van Town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Yen Minh – Ha Giang City
We leave Dong Van after finishing our breakfast and head towards the journey’s high point, the Ma Pi Leng Pass. It is well-known for its breathtaking views and is known as the “king” of Vietnam’s passes, reaching an elevation of 2,000 meters at its highest point. With a perspective of the entire valley and stunning vistas of the Nho Que river, this will be a memory you’ll never forget.
Take another road just past the pass to return to Yen Minh. This path will take you through breathtaking scenery. The route leads back to Ha Giang City from Yen Minh.
Throughout the voyage, you will encounter a variety of cultures and hill tribes, including the Hmong of Ha Giang province. Their stunning ensembles are immediately identifiable.
