Day 1: Ha Giang – Yen Minh – Heaven Gate – Tam Son – Tham Ma Pass – H’mong King Palace – Dong Van

Morning Pickup:
Our Ha Giang Open Air Jeep Team will pick you up from your hotel, hostel, or any meeting point in Ha Giang City to commence your tour.

Scenic Drive to Tam Son:
Just a few kilometers outside Ha Giang City, you’ll witness breathtaking scenery as we drive into the mountains. Crossing Bac Sum Pass, we’ll ascend to Heaven Gate to enjoy panoramic views of the Twin Mountains and Tam Son town.

Lunch in Yen Minh:
Continuing to Yen Minh, we’ll stop for a delicious lunch before heading towards Dong Van. Along the way, we’ll traverse the picturesque Chin Khoanh Pass and explore the Dong Van Karst Plateau, a UNESCO-recognized geoheritage site. Marvel at the endless rice fields, limestone formations, and the daily life of hill-tribe villages.

H’mong King’s Palace:
A few kilometers before reaching Dong Van, we’ll visit the H’mong King’s Palace in Sa Phin, home to the Vương family. Arriving in Dong Van by late afternoon, you can relax and enjoy a well-deserved dinner after a day full of adventures. In the evening, explore the town at your leisure.

Day 2: Dong Van Town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Nho Que River – Meo Vac Town – M Road – Mau Due Valley – Du Gia Village

Ma Pi Leng Pass:
After a delicious breakfast, we leave Dong Van Town for the most stunning part of our journey: the Ma Pi Leng Pass. This legendary pass is known for its craggy cliffs and breathtaking views, often referred to as the “king” of Vietnam’s passes.

Sky Path and Nho Que River:
We’ll ride down the Sky Path to admire the valley and Nho Que River, experiencing a 360° view of the Ma Pi Leng Pass. Capture unforgettable pictures and soak in the majestic scenery.

Village Exploration:
Continuing through the remote villages of Lung Ho, Mau Due, and Meo Vac, we’ll pause for lunch and refreshments. Our journey then takes us to Du Gia Village, home to seven ethnic minorities. Here, we’ll stay in a homestay with a Tay minority family, enjoying dinner and their traditional “happy water.”

Day 3: Du Gia – Duong Thuong Village – Terrace Paddies Valley – Bac Me National Road – Ha Giang City – Hanoi

Morning Departure:
After breakfast and bidding farewell to our hosts, we’ll set off on our final day’s journey. Driving back to Ha Giang, we’ll pass through the famous valley with stunning terraced rice paddies, crossing Nam Cang Village and Sky Gate.

Return to Ha Giang:
Rejoining the Bac Me National Road, we’ll arrive back in Ha Giang by the afternoon. From here, you can take a bus or limousine back to Hanoi, choosing from night buses or afternoon limousines, depending on your schedule.
