ITINERARY: Hanoi Countryside Tour to Bat Trang Ceramic Village by Vintage Vespa

8:00 AM / 13:00 Our guides and driver from Asia Vespa Tours pick you up from your hotel. Watch & listen to our guide on safe cycling techniques & things we need to keep in mind while riding a Vespa and the easiest way to get on/off a Vespa and how to sit comfortably. Simple signals to use when needed.

We leisurely ride through the quiet vegetable farm area of Song Hong Island. Crossing green rice fields, then a dirt road brings us to the 1,000-year-old Bat Trang ceramic village. Take a walking tour of Bat Trang ancient village to learn about the culture and lifestyle of North Vietnam’s most famous pottery village and visit wonderful alleyways to see how porcelain products are made, you too had the opportunity to make ceramic pieces. Visit a local family and try some candy with tea while having a chat time with them with our guide assist as a translater.

Our adventure ends up at a local restaurant in town, where we’ll try some Vietnamese specialties and local egg coffee before heading back to your hotel.
