  • Our tour guide and driver will arrive in a car/van at your Hanoi hotel at 7.30 a.m. to pick you up and take you to Ninh Binh for 2 hours with a short break halfway.
  • When you arrive in Tam Coc, our drivers and team will take you through many gorgeous landscapes and rural communities, with spectacular views of rice paddies fields where you will learn about west rice culture or have the opportunity to witness people work at their farm.
  • We’ll visit a local family to meet the people and learn about their everyday life, and then we’ll travel to Thung Nham Valley to witness the stunning nature. Our journey will take us through rural villages to Mua Cave, where you will trek up 500 steps to the summit for a panoramic view of Ninh Binh before moving to a local restaurant for lunch.
  • Lunch at a local restaurant before boarding the sampan boats at Tam Coc for a 2-hour rowing boat ride to enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
  • Tam Coc means “three caverns,” and it refers to the Ca, Hai, and Ba caves. Three caves have created along the Ngo Dong river, which runs through the mountains. They have many lovely stalactites with varying calorific values. Tam Coc is famous for its panoramic views of the surrounding limestone mountains. Fields of locals lined the river’s two banks. The boatmen on the Ngo Dong river will carry you through the cliffs and rice fields. Depending on the rice season, the rice fields can be modified ( green rice, yellow and golden rice season)
  • We then head to the hotel for overnight and having an authentic Vietnamese dinner.
