ITINERARY: Hanoi Food and Sights Vespa Tours Led by Women

Come and experience an exciting adventure by meeting our guide and drivers at your hotel! Our guide, who is well-informed, will offer vital suggestions for secure bike riding, including comfortable mounting and sitting on our scooters, as well as using simple signals when needed. Once everyone is at ease and prepared, our guide will provide a thorough overview of the itinerary and ask about any specific dietary needs. Now that everyone is well-equipped, it’s time to hit the streets and start our thrilling adventure!

In the initial phase of our tour, we will explore Hanoi’s renowned landmarks as well as discover its concealed cultural treasures. Our adventure will lead us across the legendary Long Bien Bridge and along the 150-year-old train tracks to a neighboring community where locals reside only a few meters from the rails. After this, we will delight in a rejuvenating glass of Bia Hoi, the national beverage, before embarking on a brief cruise to West Lake to relish the pure, refreshing atmosphere.

During the second leg of our expedition, we will take a peaceful and lively tour of the agricultural villages that run alongside the Red River. These villages are decorated with flower, vegetable, and banana plantations, giving us the opportunity to witness the fascinating contrast between urban and rural lifestyles in Hanoi and experience diverse ways of living.

Moving on to the third phase, we will navigate through narrow alleys until we arrive at Huu Tiep Lake, where a plane was shot down in 1972 and still remains submerged to this day. Here, we will meet a local family and have a conversation with the owner, a war veteran, about their experiences of life in Vietnam. This will enrich our understanding of Vietnamese culture and traditions.

Finally, in the last part of our journey, we will delight in authentic cuisine at local restaurants and family-owned establishments, contributing to the community’s well-being. In addition, we will visit a distinctive Egg Coffee Cafe that has been serving patrons since 1946.

We provide helmets, full body raincoats, face – masks, plenty of water and first aid kits are always available. So you don’t need to bring much!We recommend wearing sunscreen, sunglasses and comfortable shoes.
