ITINERARY: Hanoi City Vespa Tours
Our Asia Vespa Tours guide and drivers will meet you at your hotel. Our guide will provide instructions on safe Vespa riding techniques and what to be aware of while on the bike, as well as tips on the easiest way to get on the Vespa and how to sit comfortably. We’ll also learn simple signals to use when necessary. The guide will go over our itinerary in detail and ask about any special food requirements. Once everyone is ready, we’ll hit the streets and begin our adventure!
The first stage of our Hanoi Vespa Tours will take us to both the famous landmarks and lesser-known hidden gems of Hanoi. We’ll ride to historic and iconic spots such as the Long Bien bridge, and we’ll also explore the culturally rich and historic neighborhoods of the city. We’ll even have the chance to walk along the legendary 150-year-old train tracks and visit a local neighborhood where people live in close proximity. To quench our thirst, we’ll enjoy some glasses of the national drink, Bia Hoi, before taking a short cruise to West Lake for a refreshing breeze.
The second stage of our Hanoi Vespa Tours, We experience the peaceful and vibrant beauty of Hanoi’s flower, vegetable, and banana plantations by cruising along the trails of the farming villages located along the Red River. As we explore these villages, we’ll have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the diverse and contrasting slices of life that make up both city and rural living in Hanoi.
As we embark on the third stage of our Hanoi Vespa Tour, we’ll zigzag through the narrow alleys to reach Huu Tiep Lake. Here, in the middle of a peaceful neighborhood, lies the wreckage of an aircraft that was shot down in 1972. We’ll also have the opportunity to visit a local family and speak with the owner, a war veteran, about his fascinating stories and experiences from his childhood through modern-day Vietnam. Through our conversations, we’ll gain a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture and customs.
For the final stage of our Hanoi Vespa Tour, we’ll enjoy lunch at local eateries and family-run businesses. This not only supports the local community, but also allows us to savor authentic dishes that are beloved by the locals who frequently gather with friends at these establishments. We’ll even have the opportunity to visit a special egg coffee cafe that has been serving customers since 1946.
Included in the Hanoi City Vespa Tours are: pickup and drop off, high-quality Vespa bikes, local insurance coverage, experienced and licensed drivers, a delicious local lunch, drinks, helmets, and raincoats (if needed), as well as a fun and enthusiastic tour guide to lead the way.
