Hanoi Vespa Tours:
8:00 AM / 1:00 PM – Hotel Pickup & Safety Briefing
Your Hanoi Vespa adventure begins as our friendly guides and professional drivers from Asia Vespa Tours pick you up directly from your hotel. Before hitting the road, we’ll have a short but essential safety briefing. You’ll learn the easiest and safest ways to get on and off a Vespa, how to sit comfortably during the ride, and a few simple hand signals to use along the way. Our guide will also share helpful riding techniques to ensure you enjoy the journey with confidence and ease.
Stage 1: Ancient Village & Bonsai Garden Visit
We begin our ride by leaving the bustle of Hanoi behind, heading out to a serene 800-year-old village that offers a peaceful glimpse into traditional Vietnamese countryside life. Along the way, we’ll stop at a picturesque bonsai garden, where you’ll learn about the delicate art of bonsai cultivation and admire the intricately shaped plants.
Upon arrival in the village, we’ll visit a local family living in a 200-year-old traditional house. Enjoy a warm welcome with candy and tea as our guide helps translate a conversation, offering you a deeper connection to local culture and history.
Stage 2: Red River Island & Historical Insights
The tour continues through the quiet, fertile landscapes of Red River Island, passing lush banana plantations and vibrant vegetable gardens. We’ll ride off the beaten path, following scenic dirt roads through rice paddies before arriving at the historic Co Loa Citadel.
This ancient site, dating back to 300 BC, holds great cultural and historical significance, tied to the legendary reign of King An Duong Vuong and the defense of Vietnam against foreign invaders. The surroundings are perfect for capturing beautiful photos and observing locals at work in the fields.
We’ll also visit Hoi Phu village, renowned for its traditional broomstick craft. Here, you’ll see skilled artisans in action, crafting functional works of art from broom grass—a centuries-old trade in the Red River Delta.
Stage 3: Culinary Finale & Return
Our Vespa journey concludes back in the city at a local Vietnamese restaurant, where you’ll enjoy a delicious meal featuring authentic local dishes. To finish, we’ll visit a nearby café to try Hanoi’s famous egg coffee—a creamy, rich treat and a true local specialty.
After a flavorful and fulfilling day, our team will take you back to your hotel, leaving you with lasting memories of Hanoi’s countryside charm, history, and hospitality.
