ITINERARY: Hanoi Food and Sights Vespa Tours

Join us for an exciting adventure by meeting our guide and drivers at your hotel! Our guide will provide essential tips for safe bike riding, including how to mount and sit comfortably on our scooters, as well as simple signals to use when necessary. Next, our guide will discuss the itinerary in detail and ask about any special dietary requirements. With everyone fully prepared, we’re ready to hit the streets!

During the first part of our tour, we will explore Hanoi’s renowned landmarks and uncover its hidden cultural treasures. We will cross the legendary Long Bien bridge and take a walk along the 150-year-old train tracks to visit a nearby neighborhood where residents live only a meter away from the tracks. Afterward, we will savor a refreshing glass of Bia Hoi, the national drink, before embarking on a brief cruise to West Lake to enjoy the fresh breeze.

Our next adventure will take us on a peaceful and lively tour of the agricultural villages located along the Red River. These villages are adorned with beautiful flower, vegetable, and banana plantations, providing us with an exceptional opportunity to observe the fascinating contrast between the urban and rural lifestyles in Hanoi and experience a diverse range of living conditions.

As we proceed to the third phase, we will meander through narrow alleys until we reach Huu Tiep Lake, where a plane crashed in 1972 and remains submerged to this day. During our visit, we will converse with a local family and the owner, a war veteran, to learn more about their life experiences in Vietnam and gain a deeper understanding of Vietnamese culture and traditions.

For the final leg of our journey, we will relish the flavors of authentic cuisine at local restaurants and family-owned establishments, contributing to the welfare of the community. Additionally, we will visit a unique Egg Coffee Cafe that has been serving customers since 1946.

So you don’t need to bring much!We recommend wearing sunscreen, sunglasses and comfortable shoes.
