HIGHLIGHTS: Hanoi City Bicycle Tours Half Day

ITINERARY: Hanoi City Bicycle Tours Half Day

Join us at your hotel where you will meet our guide and drivers. They will provide essential guidance for safe bike riding techniques, including simple signals to use when necessary, and things to notice while we are riding. Our tour guide will also provide a detailed itinerary and ask for any special food requirements. Once everyone and everything is ready, we’ll hit the streets and begin the first stage of our tour.

During the first stage, we’ll visit must-see landmarks and hidden parts of Hanoi that are full of culture and history. We’ll cross the legendary Long Bien Bridge and walk along the 150-year-old train tracks to visit a local neighborhood where people live only one meter from the tracks. Afterward, we’ll quench our thirst with some glasses of the national drink Bia Hoi before taking a short cruise to West Lake to enjoy the cool breeze.

The second stage of our tour will take us through the peaceful and colorful flower, vegetable, and banana plantations along the Red River. We’ll cruise along the trails of the farming villages, immersing ourselves in the harmonious contrast between city life and rural life in Hanoi and experiencing different slices of life.

For the third stage of our tour, we’ll zigzag through narrow alleys to Huu Tiep Lake, where an aircraft was shot down in 1972 and still lies in the middle of a quiet neighborhood. We’ll visit a local family and have a chance to talk to the owner, who is a war veteran, about his interesting stories of our country from his childhood to modern Vietnam and its legacy. We’ll also learn more about Vietnamese culture and customs.

Finally, for lunch, we’ll eat at local eateries and family-run businesses to support the local community and enjoy authentic dishes where locals love to hang out with their friends. We’ll even visit a special egg coffee café that dates back to 1946.

Inclusions Pickup & drop off, good quality bicycle, insurance, experienced and licensed drivers, local lunch, drinks, Helmets and raincoats(if needed), fun and enthusiastic tour guide
