ITINERARY: Hanoi Food and Sights Moped Tours Led by Women

Get ready to experience an exciting adventure that starts right at your hotel! Our expert guide and drivers will be waiting for you there. The guide will provide crucial tips to guarantee a safe bike riding experience, including comfortable mounting and sitting on our scooters and using simple signals when necessary. After everyone is comfortable and ready, the guide will give a comprehensive overview of the itinerary and ask about any special dietary needs. Now that everyone is well-prepared, it’s time to hit the road and begin our thrilling adventure!

In the initial part of our tour, we will discover Hanoi’s famous landmarks and unearth its hidden cultural treasures. We will traverse the iconic Long Bien Bridge and walk along the 150-year-old train tracks to a neighboring community where locals reside only a few meters from the rails. After that, we will relish a refreshing glass of Bia Hoi, the national beverage, before embarking on a brief cruise to West Lake to savor the pure and energizing atmosphere.

In the second leg of our expedition, we will take a peaceful and lively tour of the agricultural villages that run alongside the Red River. These villages are adorned with flower, vegetable, and banana plantations, offering us a chance to observe the delightful contrast between urban and rural lifestyles in Hanoi and experience diverse ways of living.

Moving on to the third phase, we will navigate through narrow alleys until we arrive at Huu Tiep Lake, where a plane was shot down in 1972 and remains submerged to this day. Here, we will meet a local family and converse with the owner, a war veteran, about their experiences of life in Vietnam. This will enhance our comprehension of Vietnamese culture and traditions.

Lastly, in the final part of our journey, we will indulge in authentic cuisine at local restaurants and family-run establishments, while also supporting the community. Additionally, we will visit a unique Egg Coffee Cafe that has been serving customers since 1946.

So you don’t need to bring much!We recommend wearing sunscreen, sunglasses and comfortable shoes.
