Itinerary: Hanoi Scooter Food Tours

Stage 1: Hotel Pickup & Steam-Rolled Cake Experience Meet your friendly guide and drivers at your hotel for a safety briefing and detailed itinerary overview. Our adventure begins with a visit to a beloved family-run diner, renowned for serving the best Banh Cuon (steam-rolled cake) in Hanoi. Watch the chef’s masterful technique as they prepare this traditional dish, and enjoy the flavors of the delicate rice rolls. We then ride through the narrow, lantern-lit alleys of Hanoi’s Old Quarter, heading towards the Red River for a stunning panoramic view of the city at night.

Stage 2: Bun Cha Feast & Train Street Next, we venture to one of Hanoi’s iconic family-run restaurants, where you’ll savor a traditional serving of Bun Cha (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles), a local favorite. Afterward, we explore the lively streets of Train Street, where locals live, eat, and shop right beside the active train tracks. This bustling alley provides an authentic glimpse into local life, as the train whizzes by. We also pass significant landmarks like the Hanoi Flag Tower, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ba Dinh Square, and the Presidential Palace.

Stage 3: West Lake Scenic Ride & Street Food Tastings Our third stop takes us to the picturesque West Lake, where we ride along the water’s edge, soaking in the contrast between the ancient and modern sides of Hanoi. On one side, the charming, centuries-old area stands proudly, while modern skyscrapers reflect the city’s growth. Here, we stop to enjoy freshly grilled seafood and sample various traditional dishes like Pho, Banana Salad, and other Hanoian delicacies, giving you a full taste of Hanoi’s rich culinary heritage.

Stage 4: Ngu Xa Village & Vietnamese Food Exploration Continuing our journey, we explore the historic Ngu Xa village, known for its vibrant street food culture. Here, we dive deeper into Hanoi’s culinary traditions, sampling more local specialties and getting a chance to interact with the friendly vendors who offer unique Vietnamese flavors you won’t find anywhere else. From savory to sweet, the offerings here will surely excite your taste buds.

Stage 5: Coffee & Dessert Finale To end our unforgettable evening, we visit one of Hanoi’s most famous cafes to enjoy a cup of the renowned Vietnamese egg coffee—first crafted in 1946. If you’re in the mood for something sweet, indulge in a delicious Mango and Caramel Pudding at a local hotspot, known only to the locals. This sweet treat provides the perfect ending to your culinary journey through Hanoi.
