Itinerary: Hanoi Vespa Food Tours
Stage 1: Pickup & Banh Cuon Tasting
Start your Hanoi By Night Foodie Motorbike Tour with a pickup from your hotel, where your guide and drivers will give a safety briefing and walk you through the evening’s exciting itinerary. Our first stop is a well-loved family-run diner known for its Banh Cuon (steam-rolled cake). Watch the chef’s expert technique as they prepare this delicate dish, and enjoy the rich, savory flavors. Then, we’ll ride through the beautifully lit alleys of Hanoi’s Old Quarter before heading towards the Red River, where you can enjoy a stunning view of the city at night.
Stage 2: Bun Cha & Train Street
Our second stop is a family-run restaurant where you can indulge in Bun Cha (grilled pork with vermicelli noodles), a quintessential Hanoi dish. Afterward, we venture to Train Street, a fascinating area where locals go about their lives right next to active train tracks. You’ll experience the vibrant energy of the street as trains rush by, and we’ll pass landmarks such as the Hanoi Flag Tower and Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum along the way.
Stage 3: West Lake & Street Food Tastings
Next, we head to the scenic West Lake, where we’ll take a leisurely ride along the lake’s edge, enjoying the contrast between Hanoi’s ancient charm and its modern skyline. Here, we’ll stop to sample delicious street food, including fresh seafood and dishes like Pho and Banana Salad. These traditional delicacies provide the perfect introduction to Hanoi’s diverse food culture.
Stage 4: Ngu Xa Village & Local Food Exploration
Our journey continues in Ngu Xa Village, a neighborhood famous for its vibrant street food culture. In this charming area, you’ll sample even more authentic dishes, from savory snacks to sweet treats, while engaging with local vendors who are passionate about their food. This stop offers a deeper dive into the flavors of Hanoi that you won’t find anywhere else.
Stage 5: Egg Coffee & Mango Pudding Treats
To end the night, we’ll visit a famous Hanoi café to enjoy the city’s iconic egg coffee, a unique beverage first crafted in 1946.
